Platinum Dermatology Partners, a comprehensive physician-services organization for dermatology groups based in Dallas, has made its first foray into Houston.
Platinum announced that Space City-based Texas Dermatology Specialists, which serves patients in Katy, Willowbrook, and North Cypress with three board-certified physicians and two certified physician assistants, has joined the Platinum network.
Texas Dermatology Specialists was founded by Dr. Joseph Sedrak, an expert in skin conditions, treatments, and cosmetic procedures.
Greg DeAtkine, Platinum’s CEO, declined to disclose the terms of the organization’s partnership with Texas Dermatology Specialists.
The Dallas physician-services network is backed by Sterling Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm whose other healthcare investments include Kids Care Dental, based in Northern California, and Chicago-based Q-Centrix.
