THUMBS UP A Nobel Effort

|

Thumbs up to Johann Deisenhofer of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for his stunning work in snaring a second Nobel Prize for the center in just three years. Using X-ray diffraction. Deisenhofer determined the structure of a protein involved in photosynthesis. Deisenhofer’s efforts prove that Dallas is, at least in science research and medicine, a world-class city. He gives the rest of the city a mark to live up to.
