The first score of our contest is in. Environmental consultant David Higbee posted an impressive 491 to 217 point win over Jim Rossman, the technology columnist for the Dallas Morning News. Time of the match was about 2.5 hours.
Here’s what Rossman had to say about his defeat: Â “David layers words beautifully. I’ve not seen that done as well has he did today. This wasn’t really a close match after about six words.”
Higbee is on to the second round, which starts tomorrow. 31 games continue today.
