Shake Shack in Southlake is throwing a party this Saturday. Construction on the restaurant is complete and the new patio is ready to sit on. They’re giving away swag to celebrate. The shindig runs from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. (Bonus: Shack at Southlake will be hosting a Donation Day on April 15 with the Carroll Education Foundation, a non-profit organization, which supports teachers and students.)

What: Chef Jeana Johnson’s Sparkling Wine Pairing Experience
When: Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Where: Chef’s Palette (1325 S Lamar St.) on
Why this sounds like fun: A four-course tasting menu paired with champagne, sparkling rosé, Prosecco, and more. The menu includes oysters, calamari, smoked scallops with parsnip purée and morels, honey-ricotta, and cheesecake.
Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here.

Sushi Marquee is attempting to set the World Record for “largest group sake bomb.” I mean, this is fairly straightforward. The restaurant is hoping for 500 participants to show up and drink simultaneous sake bombs. The event is at 3 p.m. on April 14, but registration begins at 1 p.m.

And here is a list of a bazillion places to dine for Easter
