Melissa Mackaly’s mobile vintage shop, Sugar Derby, has just hit its one year anniversary. Congratulations, Sugar Derby! The vintage pop-up trailer houses a variety of vintage things and knick-knacks, or, more specifically, according to Sugar Derby, “mid century home accessories, Texas-inspired memorabilia, retro-gifts, clothing and covetables.” To wish the birthday shop some happies, head to The Old Bike Shop next Friday, April 12. There will be Tito’s vodka cocktails, beer by Lakewood Brewing Company, sliders from the Easy Slider truck, Red Bull to keep everyone looking alive, and tunes by DJs Elizabeth Farrell and Big Jay. Doors are opening at 9 pm.
