Plano-based WellBridge Healthcare, a behavioral health network, and Richmond, Va.-based Diamond Healthcare Corp., a population health company, have added a Texas hospital to the WellBridge network.
Following the recent acquisition of Oceans Behavioral Hospital of San Marcos, the facility will now be called WellBridge Hospital of San Marcos, part of the WellBridge/Diamond affiliation.
In the partnership between WellBridge and Diamond, Diamond oversees WellBridge’s operations, which includes a network of hospitals in Plano and Fort Worth. The two are currently working on expanding the network in Texas.
“Our clients look to us to be the proactive expert and provide solutions that work best for hospitals in their market,” Diamond CEO Richard Feldman told D CEO Healthcare. “We have a great opportunity to create growth both within WellBridge Healthcare hospitals and nationally.”
