Interesting discussion on Texas Monthly editor Evan Smith’s blog about the backlash to the mag’s recent “Astronaut Sex!” cover, and how it resulted in one of the worst-selling mags in TM‘s history. When the issue arrived, we all looked at it and said, “Great cover.” I do like that he’s being very up front about behind-the-scenes decisions. (As Wired says, it’s all about being “naked” nowadays.)
