Dreher has almost single-handedly made me look at conservatives with objective ears and hope because: if you read him regularly, you will see how he has evolved to become MORE open to ideas than less, in no small part due to his disaffection (and outright disillusionment) with the current administration. He is becoming, in other words, a David Brooks rather than a Peggy Noonan.
