Thumbs up to Joe Cavagnaro Jr., director of operations for Texas Stadium Corporation, for kicking the band Guns & Roses off Texas Stadium’s stage in September. The band screamed profanities at the crowd, made lewd comments about the young girls in the crowd and Irving girls in general, and complained nastily about the sound system, the stadium, and the city of Irving. The lead singer for these louts, W. Axle Rose, strutted around the stage in a G-string that exposed his backside. We are glad Texas Stadium and Cavagnaro can promote standards higher than that.
