Instead of jewels and fine china on display in the windows at Gump’s in the Galleria this Christmas season, shoppers will find cats and dogs. Through Christmas Eve, in conjunction with the Dallas Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the pets can be adopted at a special adoption center inside the store Cats are $20 and dogs go for $30 to $45 (price includes pet care info, a collar, leash, and a behavioral consultation plus a certificate for spay/neutering and a free first vet visit).
