Mike Miles’ Bosses Tell Him To Be Quiet. Superintendent Miles has been told to remain silent during the independent investigation into his actions regarding a contract and subsequent investigation. The board president sent a note telling Miles that he can’t talk to reporters about the investigation, can’t talk about Rebecca Rodriguez, his former chief of communications who claims Miles bullied her, and can’t destroy any documents regarding the situation.

Party Ends Early for Bosh Family. You may recognize the name Chris Bosh (NBA, the Heat, raptor—both the team and the animal). You probably don’t recognize Joel Bosh, his brother, but he’s been throwing parties in a 110-year-old building in the Cedars. The city is suing Bosh and his mother, Freida, for code violations and shut down last week’s party.

Fans Petition to Keep Kidd Kraddick’s Co-Hosts on the Air. So far, more than 39,000 people have signed the petition to keep Kellie Rasberry, Big Al, and crew on the air after the passing of Kidd Kraddick. The cast is taking off this week to mourn, but no one is sure what’s going to happen to the show after this break.

First Dallas West Nile Case Reported. As I sit here scratching the five mosquito bites on the back of my ankle, I can’t help but think one of them gave me West Nile. “But, we got it,” I tell myself. “There is no West Nile in Dallas County.” Not true.
