Sangria, the popular Mediterranean restaurant near Knox Street, closed on Monday to make way for a new Lombardi concept.
While the restaurant doesn’t have a name yet, we do know this:
The new restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, and will feature Asian-fusion cuisine – by Michelin award-winning chef Richard Chen. Prior to relocating to Dallas, Chen most notably served as Executive Chef of Wing Lei, at the Wynn Las Vegas.
The restaurant is slated to open in the old Sangria space in March.
