D CEO is pleased to announce the finalists for its 2021 Financial Executives Awards program, presented in partnership with the Dallas CPA Society, Financial Executives International, and the Association for Corporate Growth.

All finalists will be recognized in the May issue of D CEO and at an exclusive awards event, where winners will be revealed.

Categories in the program include chief financial officer (public and private companies and nonprofit organizations),  most innovative finance team, public sector, community service, internal auditor, and outstanding CAO, controller, or treasurer.

This year, D CEO and our panel of judges decided to rename its Excellence in Corporate Governance Award to bear the name of Constantine “Connie” Konstans. The late professor of accounting and information management at The University of Texas at Dallas was the award’s first recipient and a true pioneer. He realized the importance of governance well before others and founded and for years served as director of UTD’s Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance. This year, the award is being presented to Mary Jane Broussard, general counsel, chief administrative officer, and corporate secretary of At Home Group.
