I remember the first time I saw chef Lisa Garza’s gorgeous aprons lined up on racks at her tasting studio in SouthSide on Lamar. I haven’t stopped thinking about them since. I’ve wondered where where to get them, and, of course, it wouldn’t have been difficult to shoot off a quick email and find out, but you know how it goes. You get busy working on, well, work, and you forget these things. Good news is an email popped up in my box this week to say that the pretty vintage-inspired darlings will now be lined up on racks at Neiman Marcus for a couple weeks. The collection, called Couture Caviar, will be on display in the Gift Galleries as part of Neiman Marcus’ Incircle. (Quick note: they’re for hostessing, not cooking.) A launch party is taking place tonight on April 13 from 6 pm to 8 pm to celebrate. Arnold Palmers and hors d’oeuvres prepared by, duh, Lisa Garza, will be served, as well.
