An alert coffee drinker noticed a closed sign on the door of the 15250 Dallas Parkway location, and wrote in sadly that someone from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf had responded to her query via Facebook.
“The Dallas Tollway location has closed. It was not a reflection of our great staff or our loyal Guests – it was that we simply were unable to get enough people through the doors for this location to be financially successful. We will return to Dallas soon and we thank you for your patronage at the Tollway location.”
The California-based chain opened its first Dallas store near the In-N-Out in September 2012. It announced that it would be the first of many. So far, that was the only Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf shop in Dallas, and now it has shut down.
