The annual Out of the Loop Fringe Festival begins tonight out in Addison at the WaterTower Theatre, which of course means nearly two weeks of music, theater, and occasionally, musical theater.

You can see a full schedule of everything here, but keep an eye on FrontRow for reviews and picks for what to see. I’ll be there tomorrow evening, but our critic Lindsey Wilson is seeing the main stage production, Honky, tonight.

Also this evening, the country star Clint Black performs at the Majestic Theatre with support from fellow country musicians Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis. While I wasn’t much for this particular genre, some things are just inescapable, like Black’s songs “Nothin’ But the Taillights” and “Killin’ Time.” You can still get tickets to tonight’s concert via the Kessler’s Prekindle, since they’re the ones responsible for booking this particular gig. Don’t forget your Stetson.

Finally, ballerina Misty Copeland gives a talk at the Dallas Museum of Art. Copeland is only the third black woman to earn the distinction of American Ballet Theatre soloist, and she presents the inspiring tale of her professional rise. Her recently published memoir, Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina, describes overcoming obstacles, such as her mother’s unstable string of relationships and physical pressures, in pursuit of her dream. You can still get tickets for that online, as well.

For more to do tonight, including Bottle Rocket at the Alamo Drafthouse, go here.
