So this one isn’t local, but given that it’s “Cyber Monday,” I thought a little internet shopping action was in order. Specifically internet shopping for sweet, well-priced, ethically-made gifts for the littles. Who’s with me?
As founder of Fashion Loves People, Janette Crawford has long touted grown up fashion brands that respect people and the environment (i.e. eco-friendly, fair trade, vintage wares), but after the birth of her one-year-old daughter Vivian, Janette has expanded her focus to include sustainable, handcrafted items for the pint-size set.
The result is a collection of Janette’s (and Vivian’s) favorite things available for purchase in the Fashion Loves Babies pop-up shop. And these really are her favorite things, as Janette notes, “Everything in the shop I owned myself first and loved and can vouch for its quality. Some I’ve made myself.”
