Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 407 new COVID-19 cases and 9 deaths on Monday, which include totals from Sunday and Monday.


As COVID-19 continues to ravage India, North Texans are organizing to send what help they can, while others are on standby in case a loved one gets sick with the disease. The country is counting 4,000 new cases per day, but those numbers are unlikely to be accurate because of the difficulty counting new cases in rural areas. Learn more with the Dallas Morning News.


Tarrant County is offering pop-up clinics instead of relying on massive vaccination sites, KERA reports. Businesses and organizations can request a pop-up clinic at their location, and Texas Health, JPS, and UNT Health Science Center are partnering to increase vaccination rates.


The $300 per week that unemployed Texans were receiving from the state will end June 26 for jobless Texans, Texas Tribune reports. Governor Abbott said Texas will opt of the federal assistance as well as other support for gig workers.
