Restructuring Tenet Healthcare Names 10 Group CEOs

|

Tenet Healthcare has appointed 10 group CEOs as part of a more lean, market-based restructuring.

Dallas-based Tenet will be organized into 10 operating groups, according to Becker’s Hospital Review, and the CEO of each group will report directly to Eric Evans, the company’s president of hospital operations.

The 10 group chief executives, Becker’s said, are: Matt Stone (San Antonio and North Texas Group); Sally Deitch, RN (El Paso and Rio Grande Valley Group); Frank Molinaro (Arizona Group); Keith Parrott (Alabama, Tennessee, and Missouri Group); Warren Kirk (Northern California Group); Michelle Finney (Southern California Group); Ana Mederos (Miami-Dade Group); Anthony J. Tedeschi, MD (Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Illinois Group); Mark Bryan (Palm Beach Group); and Jeff Welch (South Carolina and Massachusetts Group).

According to Becker’s, Evans said in a staff memo: “As we continue to reorganize, our group CEOs, in collaboration with Hospital Service Center leaders, will begin selecting group leads in key functional areas such as nursing, physician leadership, human resources, compliance, and finance. These group leads will function as coordinators for those functions to assist the group and the group CEOs. The group structure will not involve additional staffing, and the CEOs and all leads will continue to fulfill their hospital roles.”

A spokesperson for Tenet, which will report its third-quarter results following the market’s close on Monday, told D CEO Healthcare that the Becker’s report was accurate.
