Gretchen Frary Seay is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Clearsight Advisors.  Clearsight is an investment bank focused on M&A and growth equity capital raise advisory in the technology and business services markets.  Gretchen leads the firm’s practices in Data Analytics and Digital Transformation and has advised on over 50 M&A and financing transactions for software and IT services clients.  Her experience includes sell-side, buy-side, divestiture, recapitalization, and growth equity transactions for private and public companies.  Gretchen leads the firm’s Dallas office.

Prior to Clearsight, Gretchen led the PwC Federal Transaction team in assisting the US government in divesting assets acquired during the financial crisis including all FDIC Structured Sale transactions. Gretchen began her career with Arthur Andersen in the Global Emerging Markets group executing privatization programs in Russia and Egypt.

Gretchen has been awarded Cross Border Technology Deal of the Year by M&A Advisor and twice awarded Deal of the Year by Association for Corporate Growth as well as the “2018 Most Influential Women in M&A” by Merger and Acquisitions Magazine and “Investment Banker of the Year” by D CEO Magazine and Association for Corporate Growth (2020). Gretchen earned a B.A. in International Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington and an MBA from the Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.
