Doubling up on my research today…a bit of a difficult one unless you are familiar with City Planning history:
Often considered a failure for its lack of jobs that the title “new town” would suggest, in many ways and in actuality, it has become sort of the ideal suburb; a satellite of the primary city, planned in total as a blend of city and country but allowed to develop and grow organically while accommodating a range of housing types.
