Welcome back to Laps of Luxury, a weekly series spotlighting the prettiest pools in North Texas.
Today, readers, we’re heading west to mansion-filled Mira Vista, a Fort Worth neighborhood by Benbrook Lake. Here, many homes border on castles, which helps explain why 6901 Sanctuary Lane clocks in at nearly 12,000 square feet.
Both inside and out, the home is maximalist. Its French architectural style is matched with opulent furniture, décor, and chandeliers, and the foyer features a winding staircase and an indoor fountain. Aside from the five bedrooms and five full baths, you’ll find a theater, a gym, a wet bar, a safe room, and a guest house.
The backyard is perhaps the biggest draw of this 2.25-acre property. It offers both an indoor and outdoor putting green as well as a driving range. (The current owners must be Horned Frogs fans; look closely at the outdoor putting green to spot TCU’s logo.) The outdoor living area is equipped with a full kitchen, including a built-in grill, smoker, and pizza oven. Multiple dining setups are available for entertaining, and there are ample areas to lounge, whether you prefer sun or shade.
Two heated saltwater pools are situated side-by-side. Both are bordered by stone walls and illuminated by purple lights, perhaps another nod to TCU. The deepest area has a diving board hidden along its stone border, and a jacuzzi is nestled on another edge of the pool.
