True, it’s not people food. But people love their pets more than they love most other people, so I think it’s worth of a SideDish mention. The grand opening festivities for this franchise–the Southlake store is the first in Texas, and there are plans to open eight total in Dallas-Fort Worth–begin this Friday, September 12, and a portion of proceeds from this weekend support Tipps Canine Hollow Dog Park, Dallas SPCA, and Paws in the City. While the draw of Three Dog Bakery is the all-natural, oven-baked treats such as PupCakes, Scotti Biscottis, Woof’ers, and Beagle Bagels, I’m more interest in the owners, Christy and Brad Howard, who have five mastiffs: Dozer, Daisy, Diesel, Danica, and Duchess.
