A busy week in Personnel Moves, with new hires and promotions at seven North Texas commercial real estate firms. Additionally, Chief Strategy Officer Diane Paddison has announced her retirement from Cassidy Turley, effective July 1.

• Altschuler and Co. has announced its promotion Mike Dement from senior associate to vice president, a role in which he will assist property owners, tenants, and brokers in arranging real estate transactions as well as leading the project management services. Dement has been with the firm since 2011. Prior to that he worked with CBRE and Trammel Crow Co. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.

BMC Capital, a direct lender and mortgage banker specializing in debt and equity for apartments and commercial real estate valued between $500,000 and $15 million, has announced the hiring of Jim Osgood as vice president in its Dallas office. Osgood brings 15 years of experience in commercial real estate to the firm.

Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services has announced the addition of Richmond Collinsworth as vice president in the office division. Collinsworth most recently was a vice president at TIG, where he was often a top producer. Prior to that worked at Advantage Realty in Tuscaloosa while pursuing his bachelor’s of science degree in commerce and business administration at the University of Alabama. He also received his master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University in 2013. Collinsworth is a member of The Real Estate Council, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, State Fair of Texas, and Highland Park Presbyterian Church.

Cassidy Turley‘s Diane Paddison has announced her retirement, effective July 1. Paddison has been chief strategy officer since February 2010 and in the commercial real estate industry for 26 long years. Prior to her time at Cassidy Turley, Paddison was the only woman on global executive teams CBRE, ProLogis, and Trammell Crow Co. Joseph Stettnius Jr., CEO of Cassidy Turley, will assume Paddison’s role at the firm.

CBRE has expanded its valuation and advisory services in Fort Worth with the addition of Micah Beck and Trey Evans, who will, in addition to property valuations and market studies, offer litigation and eminent domain specialty services. Beck and Evans are currently located in the Wells Fargo Tower in downtown Fort Worth and will move into a new office with CBRE’s Fort Worth brokerage team later this year.

Cresa Dallas has hired Joe Jernigan as vice president of its Capital Markets group. Jernigan brings 35 years of commercial real estate experience, including previous roles at 3M Company and Exxon Enterprises, to the job. He is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and a graduate of Samford University. Jernigan has also worked as an executive vice president responsible for asset management and dispositions for a $20 billion private equity fund, as a senior vice president at GE Capital Real Estate responsible for transitions in excess of $6 billion, as a senior vice president of acquisitions for a private REIT responsible for the acquisition and financing in excess of $1.7 billion, and as a consultant and advisor to various bank and thrift regulatory entities.

• Morrow Hill has announced its hiring of a new corporate advisor, Jon Bolsins, who was recruited after establishing himself as a reputable broker with a persistent commitment to client satisfaction, the firm says. He joined Morrow Hill in April of this year.

Transwestern has named Henry Terech as senior vice president, expanding his role to include project management services, construction management, and project consulting and management services. Terech joined the firm in 2011 and throughout his career has managed the development of more than 3 million square feet of ground-up construction, 4.5 million square feet of commercial office tenant improvement projects, and more than 1,000 luxury multifamily units with an aggregate value exceeding $1 billion. Prior to joining Transwestern, he was a private consultant to Dunhill Development and a senior vice president for Extell Development.
