New senior living communities are coming to McKinney and Fort Worth, courtesy of SRP Medical and Frontier Management. SRP Medical, formerly a healthcare division for The Staubach Co., will break ground on the new residences by the end of the year, with completion scheduled for January 2014.
The 107-unit, 80,000-square-foot McKinney project, at the corner of Stonebridge Drive and Eldorado Parkway, will offer 75 assisted-living residences and 32 memory care apartments. The 114-unit, 100,000-square-foot Fort Worth development, near Bryant Irving Road and Interstate 20, will offer 90 assisted-living residences and 24 memory-support apartments.
Both will be run by Frontier Management.
The communities will offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units with granite countertops and walk-in closets. Amenities will include landscaped courtyards, a theater room, dining facilities, and numerous activity areas, all set in a “country club-like setting.”
The two new developments come on the heels of the partners’ recent groundbreaking for Magnolia Heights, an 85,000-square-foot, 108-unit facility in suburban Houston, scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2013.
