Now through December 31, Gaylord Texan Resort welcomes back a favorite holiday attraction, ICE!.
An immersive winter wonderland of life-size sculptures, thrilling slides, and familiar scenes from the iconic holiday story, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, ICE! is brought to life by a team of 40 expert artisans from Harbin, China.
Working for six weeks to create the 20,000-square-foot attraction, the artisans used chisels, chippers, tongs, handsaws, grinders, and even chainsaws to bring the experience to life.
In this one-of-a-kind retelling of the Christmas story, guests will see the Grinch as he steals the Who’s gifts, as he sings with the Whos down in Who-ville, as he slices roast beast, and more—all carved from two million pounds of ice.
