Hillwood’s 18,000-acre AllianceTexas in North Fort Worth will soon be home to Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. Hillwood, with the help of Cushman & Wakefield, has secured a lease for a 200,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility for the automotive dealer.

Construction will begin on the greenfield project in early 2018 with completion slated for early 2019. About 900 direct and indirect jobs will be retained in Fort Worth because of this deal, according to Hillwood.

“This project and a new, state-of-the-art operations center, will enable us to reshape the way we work, so that our environment matches the activities we do every day,” Mercedes-Benz Financial Services President and CEO Peter Zieringer says.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services has had a strong presence in Fort Worth since 2007 when it centralized its U.S. locations within Alliance. BOKA Powell designed the new building. JLL will oversee the project. SmithGroupJJR is providing interior and workplace strategy services. Cushman & Wakefield helped in lease negotiations.
