I grew up in Plano. Back then we had only a few choices for dining out: Bennigan’s (where I worked in high school!), Chili’s, or Black-eyed Pea (god bless CFS). And, of course, my dear sweet Mario’s Chiquita (may it R.I.P.). Anyway, a lot has changed since then, namely that Plano has gotten many more original restaurants. Among the latest is 15th Street Eatery, owned by Sharon McGrath, whose made-from-scratch recipes fill the simple menu. (Personally, I want to try her Cornish pasty.) Lunch is made easy here, with mix-and-match combos, and she claims her BLT is the best. Someone check it out and report back promptly, please.
