Feast Your Eyes on These Decked Out Hotels

Everything is perfectly in line with a pre-established aesthetic, but also very festive.

Every other year or so, in the mad dash to create hyper-local holiday content, I’ll turn to Instagram to scour images of one of my favorite things: seasonal high-end hotel décor. (You call it lazy. I call it investigative journalism.) Each hotel, from The Mansion to The Joule, creates something that is truly a sight to see, and perfectly in line with their pre-established aesthetics.

And since it’s difficult to make your way into every lobby this December, I embedded Instagram shots of each display into this post, so you can take a virtual tour from wherever you’re sitting. Consider it my gift to you.

The Joule

A nod to historic, Neo-Gothic architecture in the front, and monochromatic Forty Five Ten floral in the back. We wouldn’t expect anything less from The Joule.

The Adolphus

It’s important that you know it took 10 gallons of icing and 500 man hours to make this work of edible art. Where is this gingerbread house’s Food Network show?

The Mansion

This is just lovely, and probably a lot harder to pull together than it looks.

The Statler

We love a holiday display that gives back.

Hotel Crescent Court

Not only did Hotel Crescent Court host gingerbread house workshops, they made the actual hotel into an actual gingerbread house (or, actually, Fancy Cakes by Lauren did).

Omni Hotel

The Omni Hotel isn’t just going to show you phenomenal holiday installations. They’re going to show you how.

The Stoneleigh

There’s nothing particularly wild or over-the-top about The Stoneleigh’s holiday display, but the historic hotel proves the power of a sophisticated (if subtle) setup.
