As Counter Culture opened a training center just last weekend, Bonton Farms in South Dallas was busy debuting its own indie coffee shop. Dallas Morning News reports that a new farmers market is also on the horizon.
Fort Worth Happenings
Something wicked this way comes. Namely, it’s Wicked Butcher, a modern steakhouse inside the historic yet revived Sinclair Hotel in Fort Worth. It opened last week and joins the Wicked Bar, which debuted in the same building back in December. As far as forthcoming Fort Worth spots go, Truck Yard has plotted an outpost at Alliance Town Center, which is slated to open later this fall.
Every Dog Has His Day
While I’d like to imagine Mutts Canine Cantina as the tropical manifestation of that famous Dogs Playing Poker painting, it’s nonetheless a puppy paradise. Dogs and their owners, who can partake in a cocktail and some bites at the dog-friendly establishment with off-leash enclosures, may be thrilled to hear that Mutts will expand to Watters Creek in Allen by fall 2020.
