Gimme Emporium is one of my favorite local businesses to hit the Dallas food scene. The company was founded in 2014 by mother and daughter team, Tina and Jessica Peters. The business offers an online menu full of jams, salsas, fudge, brittle, and scones. They have 14 different types of jam, eight types of salsa and 10 types of scones. All products are made from scratch and with local ingredients and no preservatives.

I normally go for sweet treats but under the encouragement of Jessica, I tried the Cheddar Dill Scones and they were amazing. Addictive actually. You get four scones per $6 box. (You will most likely eat the entire box so plan to buy more than one if you are sharing.)

You can order all of their products on their online shop and can find them nearly every weekend at a local market with several goodies on hand. Some upcoming events where you can find Gimme Emporium goods are Bastille on Bishop held on July 14, Bastille on Flora held July 15, Indie Summer Fair on July 23 and Commerce Street Night Market on July 29.
