I’m a product junkie and Dallas is beauty addicted city, so it only makes sense that Big D boasts some of the best stuff around. Meet my newest obsession: Serge Normant shampoo and conditioner.
Salon Lucien owner Mary Crosland recently visited D headquarters and we got to talking about dry shampoo. She recommended the version by Serge Normant, stylist to the stars and creator of this wonderful eponymous brand of hair products, and delivered a package with the dry shampoo, shampoo, and conditioner. Here’s the bad news: I hated the dry shampoo. It was can’t-run-your-hands-through-it sticky. (It reminded me of the Big Sexy Hair version.) The good news: I fell madly in love with the shampoo and conditioner. It’s sulfate free and smells like heaven. (An exotic and sexy heaven.) My hair is oily, and I’m able to use this moisturizing formula daily without feeling any build-up or heaviness post-blow dry. Plus there’s the scent.

Update: Sooo. As it turns out, the dry shampoo might be worth another shot. Here’s what Amy Ryan, Salon Lucien’s operations manager had to say:
Mary felt the same way about the dry shampoo until she started complaining to one of our staff about it and then he informed her if you apply when blowdrying your air at the same time, it will evenly apply and give it that voluminous sexy look!
