Medical City's new Chief Nursing Officer, Eosera's earbud cleaning set, JLL adds a healthcare broker, and more.

Ulondia Lee, DNP, RN was announced Medical City Fort Worth’s new chief nursing office last month. Lee previously served as St. David’s South Austin Medical Center’s chief nursing officer before coming to Medical City Healthcare’s parent company in 2004. “She brings a wealth of clinical knowledge with a focus on patient safety,” says Medical City Fort Worth CEO Jyric Sims.

Ear care expert Eosera, Inc. announced a new earbud cleaning set to sterilize dirty earbuds and protect ear health. The female-led biotech company has developed numerous other ear care products in the past with the goal of meeting underserved healthcare needs. The new kit includes alcohol wipes, a magnifying glass, cleaning putty, and brush heads in a storage container for travel use.

Dallas-Fort Worth-based Comfort Care Hospice was acquired last month leading to its new name, SilverStone Hospice. The leading hospice care provider’s rebranding includes new expansion plans and care service lines. Along with the acquisition, SilverStone named Alfonso Montiel the care provider’s new chief executive officer.

Professional services firm JLL added Austin Barrett to the Dallas Healthcare brokerage team this week. Before joining JLL, Barrett worked in real estate services for healthcare systems and physicians, facilitating over 200 healthcare lease transactions. As a new member of the brokerage team, Barrett will market and lease medical office properties in Dallas and Fort Worth.
