Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 444 new COVID-19 cases and five deaths on Monday.


Dallas Mavericks update loosens COVID regulations, The Dallas Morning News reports. Starting Monday, fans are no longer required to submit proof of vaccination or a negative test result, if not within fifteen feet of the court.


Children’s Health releases new study on children’s mental health during the pandemic, CBS reports. Over the last year, there has been a 24% increase in mental health-related emergency room visits for children ages five to eleven, and a 31% increase for older children. The study also found the pandemic has influenced access to healthcare services.


Dallas County health officials urge to take flu seriously as COVID-19 cases rise, KERA reports. Dallas County Reports the first flu-related death Monday, Nov. 15. Dallas County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Philip Huang says “We also want everyone to know the flu shot can be given at the same time as the COVID-19 vaccine if you haven’t yet received the COVID-19 vaccine or if you need to get your booster.”
