COVID-19 hospitalizations to start declining soon. Dallas ISD is offering cash incentive for vaccinations.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reports a three-day total of 3,885 COVID-19 cases and 16 deaths on Tuesday.


Coronavirus hospitalizations remain high in North Texas but may start declining soon according to UT Southwestern Medical Center. The Dallas Morning News Reports Dallas County hospital admissions have fallen but are expected to remain at about 1,000 until the end of the month, whereas Tarrant County continues to climb despite having a lower population. The UTSW forecast noted that Dallas County has higher levels of mask-wearing than Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties.


Dallas ISD is offering a cash incentive for vaccinated students, KERA reports. DISD is offering $50 incentives for fully vaccinated students 12 and older. Application is required by Nov. 15. Find the application and more information here.


Dallas County urges parents to vaccinate and mask their kids after a baby dies from COVID-19, WFAA reports. Children make up less than 1% of COVID deaths in Dallas County, but Grisales, Dallas County Health and Human Services Public Information Officer, says until there are zero parents need to do what they can to protect their kids.
