French Fry-Day: The Ultimate Guide to the Best French Fries in Dallas

A gracious Friday morning to you. After yesterday’s Thanksgiving feast, I’m sure you woke up in a carbo-tryptophan-Pinot-Noir haze today. For that reason, I am not going to review French fries today. I know you are not going to eat any. Instead, I’ve decided to give you some holiday reading.

Here is a recap of six months of researching and writing French Fry-Day posts. If you have relatives in town and you need a reference guide to where to eat fries, then print this out and get moving.

Some of my favorites include Beck’s Prime, Stackhouse (great nubs!), Super Chix, Wingfield’s, Rodeo Goat, Neighborhood Services, and Uncle Uber’s Sammich Shop (also, great nubs!).

I’d put Twisted Root, In-N-Out, The Blind Butcher, and Burger House at the bottom of the pile. All of the others listed below are good but not great. They provide a reason for the existence of ketchup.

Go forth and eat, Dallas. We have many restaurants (and fries) to be thankful for and plenty of reasons to support them.
