Chris Flockerzy, Partner, Tax Services

Chris Flockerzy

Chris Flockerzy primarily works with clients in commercial real estate, multifamily development, and professional services. Flockerzy also has experience in complex individual tax returns and tax planning. He began his career with Weaver in 2015 and the partnership is a promotion from his role as a senior manager.

Corey Palasota, Partner, Valuation Services

Corey Palasota

Since joining Weaver in 2020, Corey Palasota has been involved in more than one thousand transactions with the firm, primarily working in health systems and private equity. His team specializes in navigating mergers, acquisitions, and investments, performing valuations for tax reports and fair market value opinions, resolving disputes, and evaluating investment prospects for clients. He previously served as a director at VMG Health.

Patrick De Loache, Partner, Tax Services

Patrick De Loache has been with Weaver for the entirety of his career, joining the firm nearly a decade ago. He has played key roles in transactions for tax consulting and multi-state compliance issues for the firm. He also works with clients around annual tax compliance issues.

Jason Massey, Partner, Assurance Services

Jason Massey began his career with Weaver in 2014 and focuses on audit services within the alternative investments and financial services industries. He has also worked with real estate and energy clients, public issuers, and a variety of entities with more than $1 billion in assets under management, including real estate funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, broker dealers, and banks.

Steven Scarborough, Partner, State and Local Tax Services

Prior to joining Weaver in 2018, Steven Scarborough served as director of tax for Pilot Thomas Logistics. He has also previously served as tax manager-indirect for FTS International and been in account management roles at Enterprise Rentals and Merchant e-Solutions. His career focus includes state and local tax matters, such as sales and use tax, property tax, and indirect tax compliance. He also has experience in audit defense for claims involving sales, fuels, and IFTA taxes. His has served clients in the energy, technology, retail, manufacturing, and leasing niches.

Philip Winfield, Partner, Assurance Services

Philip Winfield began his accounting career with Weaver, working with public, private, and private-equity funded companies ranging from oil and gas, to manufacturing, distribution, and technology. He leads assurance, consulting services for his clients. He joined the firm in 2012 as an assurance associate and has since risen through the ranks, holding roles including assurance senior associate and manager.

Jeremy Winkler, Partner, Assurance Services

Jeremy Winkler has been with Weaver for more than a decade, joining the firm in 2012 as an audit associate. He specializes in auditing services, with experience ranging across hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and venture capital funds. His previous roles with the firm include senior associate, manager-audit investment funds, and more. Most recently, he served as senior manager-audit investment funds for two years.

Ashland Greene

Peter Hales, Chief Financial Officer

In his most recent role, Peter Hales served international financial services firm UBS as their executive director of investment banking in the global power, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. Prior to that, Hales worked on Wall Street, where he served as the vice President of Morgan Stanley’s Global Power and Utilities Group. Now, Hales will lead financial operations at multifamily real estate company Ashland Greene. Hales is also a Navy veteran, and while in the service, he served as a surface warfare officer and nuclear engineer, leading operations of a nuclear power plant onboard the USS Dwight E. Eisenhower.

Goodwill Industries of Dallas

Lance Anderson, Vice President of Sustainability and Logistics

Prior to this promotion, Lance Anderson served as a regional director for the Goodwill Industries of Central Florida. In his new role, Anderson will aim to enhance post-retail experience, logistics, goods processing centralization, and real estate issues as part of Goodwill’s 10-year retail objectives, which include quadrupling annual job placements, tripling retail revenue to $60 million, and doubling the number of Dallas area stores.

Joel Ibañez, Vice President of Donated Goods Retail

Joel Ibañez

Joel Ibañez will serve as point on donated goods retail for all Goodwill stores in DFW. Ibañez moved to Dallas from Florida earlier this year, where he previously served as the director of production for Goodwill Industries of Central Florida. In his new role, Ibañez will work to improve store operations, collections. He joined the company in 2021 as a regional director.


True North Advisors

Doug Hudson, Senior Director of Growth

Doug Hudson, joins True North Advisors after selling his company, The Hub. Hudson’s former company was a faith-based publishing and events business, which sold to FaithLife in 2020 after 26 years of development and network growth. Before that, he was the founder of Metro Bible Study in Dallas, a gathering of young adults in North Texas attended weekly by more than 2,000 people. In his new role, Hudson will work on creating organic growth strategies that are predictable and scalable.

Irfan Dossani, Board Member

Irfan Dossani serves as partner-in-charge of client accounting and advisory services at Whitley Penn. His specialties include tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting. Prior to joining Whitley Penn, he was a managing principal for Dossani, Turnage & Van Hoose. He simultaneously served as president of his eponymous CPA business for eight years from 2006 to 2014.
