Arlington’s AT&T Stadium and NRG Stadium in Houston will be used as federally-supported COVID-19 vaccination sites, reports the Texas Tribune. Gov. Greg Abbot and the White House made the announcement Wednesday stating that the sites will be able to administer more that 10,000 vaccines a day combined.

Texas announced its first statewide rent and utility assistance program funded by the most recent COVID-19 stimulus bill reports the Dallas Morning News. Texans looking to tap $1 billion in stimulus money for rental assistance can apply for aid through the state, beginning Feb. 15.

The White House is looking to put restrictions on domestic airline travel as COVID-19 surges in Florida, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. While fearful that coronavirus mutations are threatening to reverse hard-fought progress on the pandemic, no policy announcements are imminent, and any move to restrict travel or impose new health measures would be taken in partnership with state and local governments.
