Medical City ER White Settlement, a department of Medical City Fort Worth, will open on Wednesday, May 8. The full-service emergency department will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The 11,600 square foot emergency department will treat all ages and have 12 private patient treatment rooms, a trauma room, full laboratory, and a radiology suite with X-ray and CT imaging. Medical City Fort Worth will provide inpatient and consultation support if a higher level of care is necessary.
“As an extension of Medical City Fort Worth, we are pleased to provide the community of White Settlement with vital emergency services,” said Jyric Sims, CEO of Medical City Fort Worth via release. “Now, residents of White Settlement and West Fort Worth will no longer have to travel a long distance to receive quick, convenient and potentially lifesaving emergency care.”
The new emergency department is one of several projects Medical City Healthcare is undergoing as a part of their $1.7 billion improvement initiative across the system.
