Full-service law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman is on its way to the Park District with a new lease.

The firm announced on Wednesday it would take 56,340-square-feet of Class-A office space in the PwC Tower overlooking Klyde Warren Park. The lease will encompass the 10th and 11th floors of the building, and the firm will occupy the space in the fourth quarter of this year.

Mark Solomon, managing partner of Katten Muchin Rosenman’s Dallas office, said the move will put its attorneys closer to the places they live and work.

“We are seeing a trend in the legal industry whereby firms are not only looking to help their clients, but to also create a quality work environment, with an eye on space efficiency and design to foster open communication and allow for a more collaborative and cooperative workspace,” said Scott Krikorian, Trammell Crow Co.’s senior managing director in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Katten Muchin Rosenman is the fourth law firm to call PwC Tower home, and it will join Winston & Strawn, Barnes & Thornburg, and Caldwell Cassady & Curry later this year.

Lincoln Property Co.’s Matt Craft brokered the deal on behalf of Katten Muchin Rosenman, with CBRE’s Dennis Barnes, Shannon Brown, and Clay Gilbert representing building owner Trammell Crow Co.
