On Sunday, July 20, from 4:30–6:30 pm, the sexy new wine bar in One Arts Plaza, Dali Wine Bar, is hosting an event called “Tenors & Tutus,” presented by Lone Star Adagio and Amici di Opera. I wish I could tell you more about it, but the invitation was so vague—somewhere on there are the words “Champagne Arts Experience”—that I’d be wildly guessing at best. (Perhaps someone should have been more specific in the e-mail?) Here’s what I do know: a $15 entry fee directly benefits the Texas Ballet Theater and Dallas Opera. So the way I see it, you’ll be enjoying some champagne and doing your part to raise money for the arts. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday. And you’ll be home in time for a new episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent on USA. Nice!
