Zac Crain Is Sorry He Wrote Two Blog Posts About AT&T Stadium Last Week

|

Part of having solid character and integrity and a look some have described as “like a young Wolfman Jack” is admitting mistakes. Even with six years of blogging experience (well, almost six — I went several months refusing to blog), I made a mistake. Please accept my apology. I regret the approach I took as I tried to address the situation expeditiously. I thought of something when I was walking back from City Tavern, and I felt it couldn’t wait, even though it wasn’t really topical and involved a Tom Cruise movie I think only Tim Rogers has seen. I regret not bringing the issue before the rest of the staff earlier in the process and getting your input. I recognize I made a mistake, and I have learned lessons. No one will pay attention to the second post, for one thing. Sort of a “boy who cried wolf” situation, except replace “boy” with “wolf,” “cried” with “blogged,” and “wolf” with “rocketships.”

My goal is to turn the situation into one where we can be even more excited about how we can engage the commenters in a positive, problem solving effort.

As we move forward on this—as well as many other initiatives across all our various blogs, magazines, cookbooks, and political pamphlets—I will continue to work with you as I have in the past, building trust and cultivating respectful relationships to improve the quality of life in our great city. And typing in all-caps in the comments if you even slightly disagree with me.
