More than 740 nominations were submitted to the DFW 100 Great Nurses committee, and 100 North Texas nurses were honored by the 2013 award. The nurses chosen were selected for being role models, leaders, community servants, compassionate caregivers and significant contributors to the nursing profession.
The nurses will be recognized at the 22nd Annual Great 100 Nurses Celebration on May 8 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
