Trammell Crow Center Welcomes New American Bistro, Sloane’s Corner

The building is located at the corner of Ross Avenue and Olive Street, which is where the downtown trolley runs.

The creative minds behind Dallas eateries, Jalisco Norte, DISH, and Front Room Tavern, opened their latest concept inside the redeveloped Trammell Crow Center, Sloane’s Corner.

The NL Group eatery joins Royal Blue Market in the retail space of the $140 million renovated Ross Avenue 50-story tower owned by J.P. Morgan Asset Management and developed, managed, and leased by Stream Realty Partners.

“We’re excited to open in the newly redeveloped Trammell Crow Center and fuel the downtown community with great food, service, and free WiFi,” says NL Group owner Tim McEneny. “I’m so passionate about this project that I’ve named it after my daughter, Sloane.”

With walnut wood walls and midcentury accents, the  3,100-square-foot bistro offers a seat for anyone who needs an energized breakfast before starting the day, a quick lunch in between meetings, or an early dinner before the opera. Plus, Dallasites can celebrate the end of a workday with happy hour specials and craft cocktails. The restaurant also features an expansive outdoor patio with plenty of seating near water features and fire pits for any season.

NL Group tapped Chef Ji Kang, previously of DISH and Samar in Dallas and Michelin-starred restaurants Blanca, Atera, and Betony in New York City, as executive chef of Sloane’s Corner. Kang has recently also worked with Tom Colicchio and Scott Conant, working to manage hospitality and corporate projects. K

For breakfast, Sloane’s suggests a baguette with toppings like Jamón ibérico and tomato basil or indulge in Cast Iron French toast with whipped mascarpone, huckleberry, and maple syrup.

The lunch menu includes hot sandwiches like a shaved Porchetta Cubano on ciabatta with pickled onions, ham, and provolone with herb fries and a Prime Beef Burger on a brioche bun with smoked gouda, caramelized onions, and pickled mustard seeds. Dinner entrées range from Saffron Capellini with fire-roasted tomato sugo, whipped ricotta, and basil to Seared Sea Scallops and Roasted Atlantic Salmon.

Grab and go options like sandwiches, salads, and soups will be available for lunch. Sloane’s Corner also will serve the downtown community with a coffee bar, and CBD infused water while offering baked items like croissants, kolaches, cookies, and more.
