International Development Co., which makes consumer and industrial energy-related products, has renewed its lease for 330,000 square feet at 899 Henrietta Creek Road in Roanoke. The property is within the Alliance Gateway sector of Hillwood’s AllianceTexas.

IDC first took occupancy of the space in 2005, consolidating former locations at Southlake, Dallas, and California. A year later, it added 130,000 square feet to its initial 200,000-square-foot lease.

Stan McClure with CBRE represented IDC in its renewal; Tony Creme provided in-house representation for Hillwood.

“One of the major reasons why we chose AllianceTexas was its great location, operating costs, and because of Hillwood’s successful business development history,” said John Browder president and CEO of IDC, in a statement. “That continues to be true today.”

According to Hillwood, IDC is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of consumer and industrial green energy solutions. It owns the worldwide franchise to distribute Westinghouse Solar Lights. IDC’s AllianceTexas center handles all the distribution in North America.

Hillwood leased more than 4 million square feet at AllianceTexas in 2012.
