Stream Realty Partners, long an office leasing and management and industrial real estate force, is expanding and diversifying by launching an office tenant rep division in North Texas. The company has hired former Cushman & Wakefield broker Dan Harris to lead the group.
“It’s something that we’ve spent probably the last four years on, meeting with various people and trying to recruit the right person who would be that culture fit,” Chris Jackson, regional managing partner, told D CEO. “Until we found the right person … we didn’t want to do it.”
Now, with the right talent on board and strong market fundamentals, the time is right, Jackson said.
Alongside its established industrial tenant representation platform, led by managing director and partner Ryan Boozer, Stream has more than 200 million square feet in industrial, healthcare, office, and retail leasing and management assignments.
“We have been successful representing industrial tenants for many years, but now is the time to grow our office tenant representation services in Dallas and grow nationally,” Boozer said. “The knowledge and relationships that Dan will bring to Stream will propel the growth trajectory that our industrial counterparts have achieved over the past few years.”
During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Harris was instrumental in closing some of the region’s most significant real estate deals, including:
- Energy Transfer’s 130,000-square-foot headquarters consolidation
- Sunoco LP’s 120,000-square-foot headquarters relocation
- Altice USA’s 106,000-square-foot corporate relocation.
His expertise and track record led to a leadership role within Cushman & Wakefield’s Headquarters Advisory Group and being named a Power Broker by D CEO.
“Every service offering and growth initiative Stream has developed has been wildly successful,” Harris said. “The opportunity to lead and grow this offering as a complement to an already integrated firm, especially given Stream’s agility and strategic vision, make this the perfect opportunity.”
Harris is actively involved in the community. For more than a decade, he has served as a leader in the Dallas Intergroup Association, which helps incarcerated men who struggle with alcohol and drug addiction prepare to re-enter society. Additionally, he and his wife, Jenny, recently served as co-presidents of the Genesis Women’s Shelter Young Leaders group, which raises funds for women and children in abusive situations.
