There are “Things to Do,” and then there are “Things to Shop.” Here are a few opportunities to support your favorite local spots in Dallas.

Thursday

#Doing Things With Train Pilates

Shopping certainly counts as “Doing Things.” Do that thing (attendees will receive 15 percent off at the activewear boutique) and some Pilates at Outdoor Voices on Travis Street this Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

Thursday

Aesop Welcome Party

Having two Aesop stores (one in Bishop Arts, the other on Knox Street) made us fortunate enough, but this month, Dallas was gifted with a third boutique (in NorthPark) from the Australian skincare brand with a cult-like following. Each store has a unique, architectural look, including Dallas’ latest, designed by Canadian architect Alain Carle, which features indigenous Texas Mesquite and blush-colored, powder-coated metal shelving. To attend, RSVP here.

Friday – Sunday

Be(YOU)ty Event

We touched on Highland Park Village’s revamped beauty event (we typed it the weird way once, and will not do it again — you get it) earlier this week. Complimentary classes are filling up fast, but the shopping opportunities are still open to all.

Saturday and Sunday

Pink Pedi and Alice + Olivia

While you’re visiting Highland Park Village, drop into Alice and Olivia for complimentary nail art by the pros from Pink Pedi.

Friday & Saturday

Indie Beauty Expo at Neiman Marcus

The Indie Beauty Expo in Dallas last year.

Neiman Marcus has been killing the wellness game. Their collab with Indie Beauty Expo, the largest platform for independent beauty and wellness brands, just solidifies their forward-thinking status. This Friday and Saturday, the expo returns to Neiman Marcus NorthPark to showcase the best brands you’ve probably never heard of, including Le Prunier, a skin-saving oil made from cold-pressed plums, and Luk Beautifuood, a line of cruelty-free lipsticks so natural, you can eat them.
