There’s not always enough time in the day to skim a lengthy, re-worded press release that’s been stamped with “breaking” or “exclusive.” And some stories don’t warrant an entire page of prose. Each week we’ll gather the most important tidbits of Dallas food news and post them here, on SideDish. Because sometimes all you need is the scoop.

One2One Restaurant and Bar announces new executive chef: Chef Morgan Miller is bringing more than 12 years of restaurant experience to family-run One2One in Frisco. According to the release:

“[Morgan’s] experience includes sous chef at Bolsa in the Bishops Art District, sous chef at Buttons in Addison, executive chef at Eight 11 in Frisco, executive sous chef for ClubCorp at Brookhaven Country Club, sous chef/banquet chef at House of Blues, and several other chef de cuisine and culinary consulting ventures. Morgan’s inspiration and love for cooking was inspired by his grandmother.”

Eno’s Pizza Tavern accepts new members to Mug Club: The popular pizzeria in Oak Cliff (and now Forney) will welcome new members to its craft beer Mug Club on February 1. What is a Mug Club, you ask? According to the release:

“Eno’s Mug Club members receive an exclusive 17 oz. mug that they can personalize; many members choose to decorate their mug to show allegiance to their favorite sports team as mugs are prominently displayed above the bar. Members also enjoy a number of benefits throughout the year including taller pours on Eno’s extensive craft beer offerings, a complimentary beer on birthdays and discounts on food. A limited number of new memberships are available on an in person, first come, first serve basis for $50. Existing members are able to renew their membership in person through Jan. 31 for $35.”

Super Chix to open new Frisco location: The Dallas-based fast food restaurant is opening a new location at 3311 Preston Rd. on January 19. They are celebrating with daily specials. Check them out below:
