Maren Morris and Flo Rida are among the artists slated to take the main stage at this year’s State Fair of Texas. Following last year’s lineup, topped by Kacey Musgraves and Nelly, it seems the fair has found a groove booking a young up-and-coming Texas country songwriter and a party-starting rapper.
The Arlington-raised Morris gets the opening day slot on Sept. 29, while Flo Rida and Tejano group La Mafia round out the first weekend festivities. Wilson Phillips and the Charlie Daniels Band are among the rest of the main stage performers announced by the fair today, with more acts expected to be named next month.
All shows are free after paying entry into the fair. The State Fair of Texas returns Sept. 29 and runs through Oct. 22. The main stage music lineup, as it now stands, is below.
