OPI’s New South Beach Collection

South Beach…hmm. I don’t love South Beach, which may be why I don’t love this new spring/summer collection of colors from OPI. Now, I didn’t say dislike. I just said didn’t LOVE. But I think the collection probably captures the area perfectly. OPI describes the line as a collection of “shades that capture the color, fashion, trend-setting excitement from the world’s most stylish celeb playground.” The colors are definitely the brights of South Beach, and I could definitely see them on a playground. But, on my fingers in the office? Not so much. Although, there are four colors I really like a lot: Done Out in Deco, a matte lilac, Sand in My Suit, a shimmery nude, Bronzed to Perfection, a deep coppery brown,  and Conga-line Coral, a striking orange-red that makes you drool for summer. If you’ve seen this new collection at the salon—replacing the gorgeous France collection, sniff—what do you think of it so far? You can buy the shades at your nearest Ulta or head to opi.com. To see all the shades, jump.
